Banker turned baker, Shelly Arora believes that a good cake is one that’s a treat not just for your taste buds, but also for your eyes. Each of her cakes is crafted only after a personal consultation with her clients. Be it an elegant cake for a wedding or a naughty one for a bachelor’s party, her confections are individually tailored to narrate their story. As a cake designer, she specializes in cake sculpture, modeling, and sugar art. After learning these skills in Malaysia and successfully running her venture Cakeastrophe, she brought her art to India. To her, baking is about creating edible pieces of art. After all, nobody wants to take a picture with a salad, but everyone wants to pose with a stunning cake!
